The 8th Annual Indianapolis Open will be held from August 16-18, 2013, at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport, 2501 S. High School Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana.
The event has 5 sections: Open, Under 2100, Under 1800, Under 1500 and Under 1200. All sections will be completed over 5 rounds of Swiss pairings.
The event has a $16,000 prize fund, based on 200 entries, with $12,000 minimum guaranteed.
Open Section: $2000-1000-500-300, clear or tiebreak winner $100 bonus, top Under 2300/Unr $700-400. FIDE.
Under 2100 Section: $1400-700-400-200, top Under 1950/unr $500-250.
Under 1800 Section: $1400-700-400-200, top Under 1650 (no unr) $500-250.
Under 1500 Section: $1200-600-300-200, top Under 1350 (no unr) $400-200.
Under 1200 Section: $600-300-200-100, plaque to first 3, top Under 900, Under 700, Unrated.
Unrated may not win over $150 in U1200, $300 U1500, or $500 U1800.
