The 2013 US Class Championships are set to take place on 27-29th September at the Houston Marriott South at Hobby Airport, 9100 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX 77017.
The event will be played in eight sections, all to be completed over five rounds of Swiss system. The prize fund is $11,500 Guaranteed.
Master (2200/up): $1,250-650-400 (U2400: 600-300-200), FIDE Rated
Expert (2000-2199): $800-400-200
Class A (1800-1999): $800-400-200
Class B (1600-1799): $800-400-200
Class C (1400-1599): $800-400-200
Class D (1200-1399): $800-400-200
Class E (U1200): $400-200-100
Unrated: $300-100
National Class Champion title and plaques to each Class winner
Entry fees are $55 and $85, Grandmasters do not pay.
There will also be side events on Saturday: 5-min Blitz and Scholastic Tournament.
