In an effort to keep lecture content fresh and to expose our members to more strong players, the Chess Club & Scholastic Center of Saint Louis is continuing to bring in a steady stream of top players over the coming months.
Grandmaster Varuzhan Akobian will be in town until January 19, and during that time he will be available for private lessons and will be offering lectures, free for members, during some of our weekly programming on Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as the Kids’ Class on Sunday.
Renowned chess player and commentator Grandmaster Ronen Har-Zvi will be in to take the reigns upon GM Akobian’s departure. Stay tuned for an in-depth Q&A with Har-Zvi.
