The 35th Annual Marchand Open, dedicated to the memory of Dr. Erich Marchand, is scheduled to take place on 23-24th March at the Strong National Museum of Play, One Manhattan Square, Rochester, New York 14607.
The event will be played over 5 rounds of Swiss system and in four section: Open, U1800, U1400 and U1000. The prize fund is $10,750 guaranteed.
Open Section: $2000-1300-850-550-300, Under 2200 & U2000 each $500-300. FIDE Rated. EF: $70.
U1800 Section: $600-400-250. Under 1600 $400-250. EF: $65.
U1400 Section: $400-275-175. Under 1200 $275-175. EF $60.
U1000 Section: $260-190-130-70. Under 800 $150-90-60. EF: $55.
Grandmasters and International Masters do not pay entry fee if registered before 10th March.
